Fishbowl acquired Sellware, a leader in multi-channel e-commerce for small-to-mid-sized businesses. I contributed to the initial design that seamlessly integrated Fishbowl Drive with Sellware.
Drive users start by clicking a single "Connect to Sellware" button, which shows Sellware's available marketplaces. They then add their desired channels within Sellware. Once integrated, users can manage their channels within Drive, with options to disconnect, edit settings, and access Sellware-specific configurations.
Based on the flow chart, I began whiteboarding in the Fishbowl UX room. Among the options for managing and adding channels – dropdowns, lists, or cards – I proposed three. Ultimately, we opted for a list, aligned with existing modules for consistency and developer ease, as the necessary components were already in place.

In addition to a live demo presented to the development team, I supplemented the handoff with detailed notes on the left side of the Figma file. These notes clarify each step, its purpose, and any pertinent information, facilitating a smoother transition for the developers and ensuring clarity throughout the process.
The integration of Sellware into Fishbowl Drive marks a significant milestone in enhancing e-commerce capabilities. Through collaborative efforts, we designed a user-friendly flow that simplifies channel management and ensures a seamless experience for users. These combined efforts will drive growth and success for customers, empowering them to thrive in the competitive e-commerce space.
